Colin and I were on our way home from a production meeting, and instead of taking our usual route, we decided to cut through Oculus. We’re so happy we did! We had so much fun wondering around the area and exploring all of the different art pieces. And for meetings, I always like to put on a blazer. This plaid blazer matched this particular art piece perfectly! Not only that, the bow mules did too!
A blend of plaid, stripes, and ruffles today! I wanted to add a feminine flare to the menswear-inspired plaid blazer. Pairing it with ruffle stripes and check bows made the blazer feel more sweet and fun. As you know, I love that boy-meets-girl look!
We just finished a video and I can’t wait to share it with you! The truth is… we film a lot, but in the editing room, some of the videos just don’t make it. I always want to add something special to every video. And to be honest, I have a hard time striking the balance between something that’s cinematic yet casual. I think, and truly hope, that we accomplished this balance this time around! From pre-production to post-production to the finished piece, the whole journey was so much fun. It’s scheduled to go up soon. *crossing fingers* Hope you’ll like it!

Autumn calling! With the weather cooling down, I’m so excited to style with autumn ruby shades and golden hues!
Every year, it seems like fall comes and goes in a flash. I remember very clearly that last year one day it was hot and humid, the next cool and cozy, and two weeks after that it was freezing! It felt like fall only stayed for two weeks! Hopefully this year, we can enjoy autumn a little longer. But for now, it’s sweater weather with amber color knits and lush velvet crimson hues!

We try our best to have date night once a week. It’s an opportunity for us to get dressed up and try a new activity or restaurant. Lately, we’ve been obsessed with mediterranean food and magic shows!
In addition to a timeless crisp suit, Colin is a huge fan of patterned suits. It’s such a great twist on the classic menswear piece. Him and I both love rich deep blue colors. And blue mixed with checks pattern and a tailored cut… it’s dashing, contemporary, and youthful!
This Topman blue suit has all of the ingredients above and more. A slim cut, slender notch lapels… it just feels very modern and fun! And I love that he styled the blue with brown accents. *taking mental notes for my own styling* =)
Whether it’s for a suit, an incredible outerwear piece (like this AllSaints leather jacket), everyday basics (these Treasure & Bond henleys are super comfortable), or holiday gift item (like this lightweight and chic Daniel Wellington timepiece) for him, I always check on Nordstrom Men first. If you’re in NYC, you have to try – Colonie in Brooklyn for amazing pastas, Nur on 20th Street for incredible Middle Eastern food, Fedora in the West Village for its steak and duck fried rice dish, and JeJu Noodle Bar in the West Village for their super delicious Gochu Ramyun ramen! After dinner, head over to Monday Night Magic. Go with an open mind and don’t expect much =D
