Sunflower :: Little ruffles & Suede mules

Happy Monday everyone!  Soft textures and a glimpse of spring today!  Pairing all of my favorites, soft knits and delicate feathers, with the perfect finishing touch… fringe-trimmed suede mules!

Mules are this season’s little darlings.  A great way to transition to spring, they lend a modern, feminine flourish to classic and edgy looks.  And especially with a pop of color, they add joy and subtle complexities to all-black and monochromatic outfits.  I can’t wait to restyle these sunflower beauties (M.Gemi‘s limited edition anniversary style!) again with a sharp blazer and leather shorts.

Hope you had a great weekend and thank you so much for reading!  And special thanks to M.Gemi for partnering on this post!

My Under $60 At-Home Spa

My Under $60 At-Home Spa

Whenever I feel like I need a little life-refresh, I love to head to the spa, get a facial and just completely unwind and relax. And after an especially crazy fashion month and a whirlwind trip to Japan, a relaxing day at the spa is long overdue. But now that I’m back in LA with […]

A New York Minute :: Classic timepiece & Tulle skirt

Happy Friday everyone!  A Sex and the City moment dancing in a tulle skirt and running around the city with Mr. Chef =)

We both ended up walking out of the apartment unintentionally matching.  In shades of blue and anchoring it with strong black textures, we almost twinned it.  Again.  But one similar detail that we do share quite often is our timepieces (again here, here, and here).  Him in his favorite Classic Black Sheffield and me in the latest Daniel Wellington Classic Petite Collection.  Same ultra-slim case but this time crafted with a soft lightweight mesh strap, this watch echoes understated elegance.  From lattes to late dinners (and for us it’s late late dinners due to his restuarant hours), this petite timepiece is the perfect everyday piece.

Have a great weekend and thank you so much for reading!  And special thanks to Daniel Wellington for partnering on this post!

A Spring Fever Must Have

A Spring Fever Must Have

This was a dress I’ve had in my closet for a while but never got around to wearing it because it never seemed like the right weather to do so. It’s a dress that was a bit light to wear in the cooler weather (thin material + the off the shoulder element), but too heavy […]
